Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Toronto Trucking Association.

There are two types of memberships available at the TTA;

Active: Available to any trucking company doing business (pickups or deliveries) in the Greater Toronto Area

Trade Associate: Available to any company that provides goods and services to trucking companies

Active members include a large number of companies of all types and sizes who are located and/or provide transportation services in the Greater Toronto Area. Many of our members also provide service to locations across Canada, and to/from the United States and Mexico.

Our membership also includes a large number of reputable, quality oriented suppliers of various goods and services to the trucking industry.

Joining the TTA will provide you with direct access to an extensive industry network where you can exchange valuable information on important topics and issues, develop solid business contacts and build meaningful, lasting friendships.

How To Join

The first step in the process of becoming a member of the TTA is to complete a membership application form. You can either download a PDF copy of our application form by clicking here, complete it, and then mail or fax it to our office, or fill out the online form below.

Upon receipt of your application form, a representative from our office will contact you to acknowledge that we received it. The application will then be reviewed at our next Board of Directors meeting.

Following this a TTA representative will contact you to verbally indicate your approval as a member, and then send out a new member welcome kit, which includes a TTA Membership Plaque.

General Information

- By-Law 20: "Applicants for active membership shall advise the Corporation not only of vehicles owned by it which are licensed…but, also vehicles owned and operated by subsidiaries of or companies affiliated with the applicant."
- Our fees are based on the total number of power units a company operates.
- Applications for membership will be reviewed by the Board of Directors at their next monthly Board meeting.
- Please mail any literature that explains or identifies the services provided by your company to the TTA office.
- The initiation fee for a Trade Associate member is $100.00 (plus 7% GST). A cheque in the amount of $107.00 must accompany this application.
- Fees are pro-rated based on the calendar year (Jan.-Dec.). Therefore, to determine the fees payable with this application, multiply 1/12th of your total annual fee by the number of full or partial months remaining in the calendar year at the date of this application.
